Employer

    Step 01

Describe what you need, your location, timing and budget in a couple of minutes.

  2. Choose a Freelancer

    Step 02

Compare Bids, public profiles and reviews, then choose the right Freelancer for the Job.

  3. Payment Guarantee

    Step 03

A complete Payment Guarantee confirms that the full agreed NGN price is secured for the Freelancer before the Job proceeds.

  4. Leave a Review

    Step 04

Both sides leave reviews tied to real, completed work.

Freelancer

  1. Bid on Jobs

    Step 03

Deliver the agreed work. Once it is confirmed, the guaranteed payment can be released.

Fees, cancellation
and disputes

Know the terms before paid work begins and the route forward if plans change.

A visual guide to fees, cancellation and disputes in Nigeria

Fees

New V1 Work has no Employer completion fee. The Freelancer completion fee is 5%, including the provider escrow cost. Review the saved quote before confirming.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, Wurklynk gives both sides a clear route to raise the issue and work towards a fair outcome.

Cancellation

Plans can change. The applicable cancellation terms show both sides where they stand.

What you pay and receive

Posting and browsing do not fund Work. New V1 Work has a 0% Employer completion fee and a 5% Freelancer completion fee, including the provider escrow cost. The saved quote governs an earlier payment. Check every amount before you confirm.

Example: a new V1 Job priced at ₦1,000.00
Work priceEmployer paysFreelancer feeWallet credit
₦1,000.00₦1,000.00₦50.00₦950.00

Wallet credit and bank receipt are separate

The minimum bank withdrawal is ₦1,000. Your available Wallet must also cover the bank transfer fee. The ₦950 earned from a first ₦1,000 Job is below that minimum; it remains in Wallet until you have enough available funds. Direct Wallet funding is currently unavailable.

For example, a quote sending ₦1,000 to your bank with a ₦10.75 transfer fee debits ₦1,010.75 from Wallet. That is an illustration, not a fixed bank charge: your quote shows the actual fee and verified destination before confirmation. Pending is not proof of bank receipt; use the saved receipt for status and support.

When delivery, release and refunds happen

Agree the delivery and review window before funding. The recorded 2–365 day window starts at funding: the final day is for review, the earlier days for delivery. The flow records one revision request within that window; it does not extend Payluk claim eligibility. Check the exact deadlines on Work. After the recorded review deadline and provider claim eligibility, release may be requested only when no revision, cancellation or dispute holds it; provider confirmation is still required.

The funding review shows the escrow fee retained on a refund, including a funded offer that is declined or expires. For the example above, an agreed ₦50 retained fee leaves a ₦950 Wallet refund. That refund is below the ₦1,000 bank minimum, and withdrawal fees are separate. Cancellation approval or a provider refund request is not a confirmed refund: check the receipt. Existing accepted terms and mandatory rights continue to apply.
